Deciduous, thicket forming shrub with branches armed with thorns, 4-6cm long. Creamy white flower clusters appear in mid spring above the dark green, glossy foliage. These flowers give way to dark red edible fruit. Native to the Pacific Northwest. Drought tolerant.
