Dense compact mound shaped shrub with deep carmine red blooms fading to rosy pink with age. Fine textured bluish green foliage turns reddish purple in fall. Improved sport of Anthony Waterer introduced from Holland. Good for foundation or Mass Planting.

Water regularly as needed. Feed in spring with an all purpose fertilizer prior to new spring growth. Little pruning is necessary. In colder climates, winter die back is common. Prune to ground level in early spring, treat as a perennial. Remove spent blooms to promote more flowers.
