The White Spruce is a tall, stately tree known for being one of the hardiest in the landscape. It has a distinct pyramidal form with bluish-green evergreen foliage that emerges light green in spring. Once established, this spruce requires little watering and can tolerate a variety of soil conditions, growing best in well-drained locations. Its tall form and dense branching make it an excellent option for a windbreak, as well as a great vertical accent for lawns, parks, or mass plantings.
