Plum Pembina

Pembina Plum
The Pembina Plum is a hybrid of Canadian and Japanese plums, offering the best characteristics of both. In spring, the tree blooms with stunning white flowers, followed by round, red fruits that ripen in late summer. These firm, sweet, and juicy fruits are perfect for fresh eating and desserts. To produce fruit, the tree requires a compatible pollinator, such as Brookred, Opata, or Tecumseh plums. Highly tolerant of urban pollution, the Pembina Plum is considered one of the finest plums to grow in the Prairies. Its upright, vase-shaped form makes it an excellent choice for orchards, as well as a beautiful accent tree in any landscape.
